    P. astriata and sundbergi - Praslin, Seychelles

I visited the Seychelles last week and was able to grab some photos of P. astriata and sundbergi. The astriata were extremely common and could be found on almost every palm tree on the island, whereas the sundbergi were seen less frequently. First 2 photos are sundbergi and the rest are astriata.

Hey guys, I'm excited to be working with reptiles again! At what age is Strophurus taenicauda sexually differentiable? Is there a higher likelihood of acquiring a specific sex over the other (in other words, are females or males more common)? It is to my understanding that males possess two...

    guimbeaui in groups - advice?

I was planning on housing my 1.3 group of guimbeaui in a 100x60x120 (cm), though, now, I'm not so sure. I have two basking spots and 6 removable "orthodox" egg laying sights. I'd like to here how guimbeaui keepers house their animals? In groups, or single females with the male rotated in? Adam

    P. grandis prolaps?

I just witnessed copulation between my pair of grandis. I've had the pair together for about 20 days. I assume they've mated prior to this mating. Anyway, after they had completed, the male began to lick his vent area with his sex organs (I assume) hanging out. It's only been a couple minutes...

Phelsuma importation from Europe to Canada?

Hey everyone. I may be way ahead of myself here but, in the next two years, I want to import some "uncommon" Phelsuma from Europe to Canada. I'm fully aware it will be very costly, and time consuming, be I'm wondering if it is possible? There are very few people working with rare spices such as...

    Hawaiian P. guimbeaui

Hello all, I was wondering what is needed to bring P. guimbeaui from Hawaii? I know some people on these forms have WC's from Hawaii. Are CITES permits required? Who can I get in contact with? I'm on West-Cost Canada, so the "shipping" wouldn't be too long. Most importantly, is this even...
