    My last hatchlings (Agamura persica).

The two eggs were supposed to hatch after I came back from my vacation, but the little spiders decided to hatch the day before I left. :S Now my father had to take care of two spider hatchlings as well and he did a great job! Both the geckos shedded well and they both eat. One of them not as...

A verry happy new year for my vipers.

This morning at 10 AM I looked in the viper viv and saw this: The male is now 7 months old. The female is born in 2007, so both animals are old enough. A good start of the new year! :P René.

    Viper Gecko pics.

Here's my captive bred female, born in 2007. I've got her since September 28. I recently found 4 eggs she layed, but I don't put them in the incubator because she probably mated with a halfbrother before I got her. But enough talk, here are the pictures: René.

    Who can help? (sexing vipers)

Who can help me sex these vipers? They're both about 4 months old. I was thinking they're both male because of the pre-anal pores. I thought female vipers didn't have pre-anal pores, but I can't find any clear info on that. René.

    Translation of teratolepis.

Can anybody tell me what "Teratolepis" roughly means? I'm trying to translate "Teratolepis fasciata", but I'm stuck on the part Tera(to). I've discovered that "lepis" means "scale" and that fasciata means belt or bandage and is a common name for more banded animals like i.e. Nerodia fasciata...

    Hello Ladies......

Yesterday around 4:30 pm I introduced my male to the females again. After 2,5 hours, this was the result: And when you're finished, you first clean your equipment before you put it away. ;-) René.

    Gecko Shipping.

Does anybody know a reliable shipping company / courier in The Netherlands that delivers internationally? I'm looking for one, but all I can find are companies that are extremely expensive or they don't ship live animals. René.

    Tropiocolotes steudneri (ZF1).

Two pictures of one of my Tropiocolotes. I made them because I had some doubt about the species. It could be steudneri ZF1 or a complete other species. But now I'd say it's steudneri ZF1. In my opinion it has a more beautiful pattern then the ZF2 form. And I like the pics. :) René.

    Egg hatching.

Today at noon, my father called me that one of my eggs was hatching. (My incubator is at my parents house.) Now, four and a half hours later it looks like this. I'm very curious what'll happen in the next few hours. (Íf anything is going to happen.) René.

    This years third.

This is only my third Agamura persica hatchling of this year. A verry bad year, due to a broken incubator (but a new and better one is arriving this week. A Jaeger FB 50 E!!!) At least there will hatch a couple more eggs. René.

    New little fella; Tropiocolotes steudneri

This little Tropiocolotes steudneri was born 2 days ago. It's 3cm long and hatched in situ. But I don't know how long incubation took. The egg was layed in a little urn, and the other geckos used the urn to hide and bask. So they walk over the egg and moved it around. I also took the urn out of...
