CITES 2

I just found out that all Uroplatus are now CITES 2. What are the restrictions/regulations pertaining to them?

The exporting country needs to supply documentation that the animals are exported in accordance with CITES. I've heard that Madagascare either isn't a signing party to CITES or the US doesn't recognize their CITES documents. So they might still be available, they might not. We'll just have to wait for the dust to clear and see where everything falls out.

Best,

Chuck
