finally!! success with my underwoods. my female laid her first pair of eggs last night. i was planning on incubating them on slightly moistened vermiculite at about 79F. i have read that this temperature takes a little longer for them to hatch but more females have been noted hatching.
anyone with experiences...please let me know. i am thoroughly excited but also would like to avoid simple mistakes on my first incubation. thanks,
nathan

Incubation is pretty straightforward with this species. I incubate eggs on perlite or vermiculite. I do about a 1:0.8 ratio of media to water by weight. I've incubated eggs at 80-87 degrees F, and I usually get a pretty even ratio of sexes.
