How much for marbled geckos? (Christinus marmoratus)

I have a male marbled gecko and would like to get another, possibly a female, but the only guy I've found here who's selling them hasn't given me a price. These little geckos are common enough in the wild here (Adelaide, South Australia) but it's pretty hard to find captive-bred specimens. He has 4, 2-week old hatchlings that he will be selling in 3-4 weeks from now... what is a fair price to offer? I'd probably get two, and I don't want to be taken advantage of!

There's a picture of my guy, after he escaped one night. He seemed to think it was funny... :D

since you live in australia and you said they are fairly common, they shouldn't command too high of a price....what did you pay for your male?

He was given to me :) I've never seen them for sale here, none of the reptile suppliers/stores can even give me a price... it's a bit weird! They're not common as pets, it seems no one really keeps them, but they are common in the wild. I think it's just because they're pretty small, and not so "exotic" as some of the other species available. I like 'em though :)

Woohoo- just got an email in answer to a wanted ad I placed- 3 females, 2 males, ranging from 2 years to 4 years old, and all 3 females are breeding/laying viable eggs regularly! 270$ for the lot!
I think this is a good deal.... is it?
