Thanks, and from what i've seen, read and heard from both breeders like mike and fieldstudies, these and the rest of the larger uroplatus species like to climb around a lot! larger the better. serious concern though with larger; taller and wider
enclosures is air exchange and humidity. small ground vents and small top vents where lights might be placed but cage design needs to focus on the animals needs first. often the cage or vivarium floor is ignored in taller tanks, thus an increase in
molds etc which can lead to blooms, poor air and illness. remember also that damp soil will NOT promote humidity...but i'm rambling again.
lastly i noticed that the wider base lend it self to offering better snout health on the gecko. too small of a cage foot print and they seem to just jump into the sides.
