Insecticide?

Hey guys,


I live in wooded are, and i have a problem with spiders and the such. Anything you can recommend that is gecko safe?

I don't think I understand. What are the spiders doing that make them a problem? Are they dangerous spiders?

Spiders are great creatures, they eat flies, mosquitos and other flying and crawling insects, let them live

Yes i undertand all this, and im not countering it. However, they make me uneasy when they are in my living quarters walking all over me. I find arachnids quite fascinating, but i dont want them touching me lol.

The only really gecko safe solution is a rolled up newspaper. Good hunting!

Jeff, are they really that bad?? maybe you could get some house geckos and just let em loose. maybe some fly paper?

Lol...i just had one walk across my hand. Screamed like homer simpson my girlfriend tells me. I dont mind them, and i definately prefer them to ants, beetles, and roaches, but the thought of one walking on me when i sleep gives me the willies! If i had my own standalone house i would love to release some geckos in the house. Someday...

do you hate knowing that no matter what you will swallow spiders in your life time? does that thought gross you out? or even make you want to puke? :lol: nah im just messing with you I'd try some fly paper, unless these are some BIG spiders than you can catch them and ship them all to me and I'd love to keep them for pets. (I love archnids and other inverts)

omg.. i thought you were serious for a minute. i had an employee who was freaked over spiders cause she 'knew' that a person swallowed, on averge, 8 spiders a year i ntheir sleep. i about fell down laughing when i heard her say that. i asked where the heck she hard that to which she replied, its true. :roll: i promptly proceeded to surf to snopes.com and found an article debunking that lame bit of urban legend.

Yeah honestly i love arachnids, but i dont like any sort of creature be it gecko or spider crawling on me while im unconcious. I also have a boston terrier to worry about.
