cage levis levis

hi,

i'm looking to keep nephrurus levis levis but i don't find any good caresheets.
i have a cage of 3.20 feet long and almost 2 feet high.
but i'm not shore of i could keep a pair of levis levis in it.

I 'm searching fot almost a year but i so hard to find in Belgium.
I hope some body could give me any advice.

Hi Katrien,
Glad to have you as a member.

There is a good acre guide for Nephrurus levis care here http://www.calm.wa.gov.au/plants_animals/reptiles/advice/terrestrial_geckos.html, which also states a good vivarium size.

Although I have not kept them myself (but hope to in the near future) I would say that a good tank size for a pair of N. levis levis is about 25”long x 12” high x 12” deep.

If you’re attending Hamm in September, I’m sure Nathan would be able to supply you with some nice N. levis levis.

But is it possible to keep 2 females and 1 male together?
With many regrets, we will not be able to go to Hamm this year.

Hi Katrien,
There is always March for Hamm

As long as they are adults, 2 females and a male can be kept together no problem but make sure they are at least a year and half old. Also make sure they are not two males together as they will fight.
