Keep in mind that none of these pics are altered in anyway. This thread will feature all my ciliatus as I compile my pics, but for now...

What kind of camera are you using? They may not be altered but I think the white balance is off in the second photo. In my opinion the first on is a little off as well, if that’s a white background, you should play with your white balance to make that look white, if your camera has a custom white balance setting. If not I would try using window light or if possible take them outside. Natural light will bring your photos closer to true color than any other lighting. Then again I could be wrong, that’s just what I was taught. In any case those are great shots, I love the first one.

I usually shoot my herps with my Olympus 4000Z. And yes, the white balance is off in the first one, but not necessarily in the second photo. The ciliatus pictured is actually about that color when she is fired up. Where I'm located, it's impossible for me to take them outside pretty much year round (Hot summers, frigid winters), so I'll just play around with some full spectrum bulbs. Both these photos were really quick shots, and were more illustrative of the camera's abilities to capture detail. Thanks for the advice and I will definitely we going back to shooting in full-manual mode. And thanks for the compliment.
