My p. standingi wont drink unless im holding him! No matter where i spray/put water, he wont drink unless i am holding him. Before he wouldnt let my hand come near him (had him since early august) now suddenly he's letting me pick him up. He wont eat much either (and once again only if i hold him). He takes only a few licks of baby food and wont touch anything else. I dont know what to do anymore. Im cooling down one sde of the cage a little more and ive given him mineral oil in case he's impacted. Any Ideas?

Jessica,

It would be helpful if you go over your husbandry practices. Let us know what size the cage is, what the cage is made out of, light source, temperature ranges (day/night, coolest/warmest spots in enclosure), feeding regiment, watering regiment, supplementation, age of spcimen, other behavioural details (runny stool etc.)...

This might help narrow down what might be going on with him.

Best, Yuri

A QUICK GUESS S TO THE PROBLEM-----MY THINKING IS YOU HAVE YOUR CAGE TOO HUMID---THEY ARE FROM THE A DRY AREA OF DATE PALMS------WARM HIM UP AND DRY HIM OUT------HE DID NOT START THIS WAY YOUR CARE OVER TIME CAUSED IT SO THE MOST LIKELY CAUSE IS HUMIDITY------UNLESS HE IS OLD--IF SO HE MAY DIE OR HE MIGHT BE TOO FAT----IN ANY CASE HIS NOT EATING IS A BAD SIGN------BE PREPARED FOR THE WORST---HOPE FOR THE BEST---ALL LIVING THINGS DIE----YOUR HUSBANDRY MIGHT BE PERFECT-----EVEN MOTHER NATURE HAS DEATH AMONG HER CHILDREN------AND ANY HOBBY DEALING WITH LIVING THINGS WILL AS WELL
