I don't own one but I caught one at my work that someone threw out their window. I cleaned it up and gave it to a friend of mine who has them. They are really neat and boy can they bite I found out the hard way.

LOL, they are pretty cool...I had some when I was younger. I love how they bond to you...

how much are they going for where you guys are from? In Ohio where I"m at they go for about 250-350 is that average?

Well I work at a petstore and get them at about $150. It's the only place I've seen them around here.

I never realized how flat they can go. when it was running around the parking lot it looked like it was run over. I thought it was the wind blowing it around. So I got my car and drove upto it and it jumped in my truck, now that was a sight to see. I basically craped my pants. I didn't know I could move that fast! So I went inside and bought some welders gloves and a rubbermaid container and caught it.
