any body here own or ever owned a chinchilla coz i've got mixed oppion about the litte %$#%#@! there funny and cute est. but hell they dont half poop every where!! they pratactly swim in there own feacil matter! :shock:

I have never had one, but I have heard of them being at my dads vet clinic. I don't like them, there too round and fuzzy. How can you put up with something that rolls in there defication?!? Get a rat, there cooler and smarter and don't play in there poo. I personally have guinea pigs; they eat their crap and they make funny noises when you pet them wrong :lol:
Just kidding

So, are you thinking of getting one, or do you already have one?

lmao lol i've HAD one but hell they are funny and friendly but they do roll around in there own poop and tend 2 flick it at you :? there fuzzy but funny but very unhigenic! if any one ever gets a chinchilla then remember keep it in the shed!

Mine is really clean! I think that they are awesome. A little loud at night but cool none the less. Sadly our little guy has epilepsy(sp?). So he goes into seasures some times. Its soo sad :( but he gets about just fine. The other day when I was taking photos of him, he started humping my hand! I was dieing, loughing so hard. If he didn't have a seasure problem, we would get him a gf. But all he gets now it his little plush monkey...lol

I too have had them and they always have been really clean. Other than the fact that he would grunt at you if you walked by his cage and didn't give him a treat he was a wonderful little guy!

mine was brill she was friendly and sit on my lap chase my cat and be all round funny but she was very unhigenic and flicked ppop at any one who walked past her cage and just flick poop out anyway!
