day geckos are awsome

i would like a day gecko they are sooooooooooooooooooooo cute and i love that colour! espically on them.
in the future maybe i cud get a day gecko.
but i dont no much about them, does anyone know how to look after and care for one??

Hi Rachel

I keep day geckos and if you get the right species they are easy to care for and nice to keep. Start off with Phelsuma Laticauda (gold dust day gecko) which are beautifully coloured but easily cared for - i have one of these. They are a bit hard to find in shops near me. Where are you in the uk? There are plenty of care sheets on the web, and do plenty of research as to set-ups etc and get your viv/lights/substrate/thermometers in place first before you buy a gecko. thanks Stu i live in Wales in the UK.....am not sure really where to get them from because i haven't really looked around any pet shops around my area......how long have you had your one for??
