hey everyone, i finished it today!! now i just have to get them..lol
they are both about 18x18x20
i put it under my Bluey tank...running out of space.lol,enjoy

Looks good, but here are a few things to consider:

While melamine has a thin layer of material that keeps the face from generally absorbing moisture, the ends are not treated...you'll need to finish them with an edge band or seal them as an open end like that will dramatically decrease the life of the enclosure. Oh and it looks like the front door has the plexi? sandwiched (sp?) somewhat and that might allow for one gecko to get into the other's cage, vice versa. But I'm not sure from the pics. Anyway, great job!!!

ok i will look into the edge finisher. thats for the help. as for the divider, when i close the plexi glass there is no room to get through. it is flush up against the wood. the top is the same. i hope they dont get through .

Yeah they have two types of edge banding: one is the T-style which requires you use a slot cutting carbide bit to install the moulding and then you have the iron on banding. Another viable option is simply covering the edges with a non-toxic latex paint (several coats).

thats an awesome job man, when I get to it this summer I have a huge design I"m woring on, I might just send you a pm to get some ideas :D
I'm gonna be working with what was suppose to be a bar at my house. The people never finished it just the frame work. Its 8 feet long, at least 2.5 feet wide and at least 4 feet tall thats just the base though. I want to build multiple compartment in it ya know. Just don't know yet where to begin.
