hey everyone just thought id show you my new lil guys

this one gave me a run for my money, jumped rite out of his bowl. chased him for 10min..lol

i wasnt going to take pics of them b/c they just got here. they seemed a lil jumpy is that normal? any suggestions for names?lol enjoy

Hey, nice looking crestie. I noticed in the 3rd and 4th pics that it looks like regular potting soil in the planting pots. If thats the case, I just wanted to warn you that, its very dangerous for the crestie. If he goes to eat a little cricket hanging out near the bottom of the plant, and accidently eats one of those little foam balls with it he would probally die. I take out all my plants and wash the roots, then replant them in eco-earth or any type of safe substrate. And btw, you did a good job on that enclosure, I like it.

o0 boy. ill will get on the rite away, wat about peat moss for the plants? i tried my best with the tank, but they still hang on the sides..lol .and other thing they were very jumpy b4 as i said is this b/c of the ride here?

Regular ol' Canadian Spaghnum peat moss is fine. Just know that it carries a skin fungus that can irritate humans and possibly herps. I ususally bake it in the oven at 300* F until it starts smoking (right at the burning level).
