You will get a lot of eggs in that cage...I am sure you might even hach some out in this cage finding a baby now and then. Great set up for this species! This set-up would even get the more dificult fimbriatus to breed. By the way nice craftmanship as well!

thanks shane. the pair is from luke stevens, he said they laid 7 clutches for him last year so i'm looking forward to it. i may add another 1.1 pair later on this year, we'll see how it goes.
i tried to keep the least amount of objects on the bottom of the cage with just 2 piles of moss in the corners to hopefully entice the female to lay in those areas so it won't be too hard to find them.
also, i'm hoping to get some fimbriatus to set up in a cage just like this one, i ended up with 2 free 40 gallon tall oceanic aquariums within the past year so i might as well put them to use ya know?

I would try to get one good male with 2-3 females in that size cage. This reduces stress on the females who are gravid. It at least has worked best in my experience. If you get fimbriatus I have had luck feeding Anoles for good breeding production. They would actually live with them for some time before turning into food. In the non-productive season they hardly ate the Anoles so I take it this was part of instinct for production? The only thing is Anoles can harbor new parasites. I at least panacur'ed the Anoles once and did the fimbriatus if any problems, but did not use flagyl or any other harsher treatments Anyways good luck on the new setup.

thanks for the input shane.
i'm raising the temps. from like 65-68 up to about 75 and increasing the misting this week in hopes that they will start breeding soon.
thanks for the ideas, and i'm definitely interested in adding the group. i've just got to wait awhile.
