this is an old pic of my breeder tank, where i kept 3.3 for a while. i had some "alpha" males though, which were fighting with other males, so now i have only 2.2 in there. it's also undergone some changes and is due for a new pic, but youll get the idea.
in this next picture, i had a single pair for a while, and i caught my satanics mating at least once, and got one egg that i remember in there.
its about time i take newer pics of everything though, so hopefully ill have more to show sometime soon.

maintaining live and healthy satanics is my first goal. finding eggs comes second to that. every now and then, usually at least once a week, i go through the cages looking for eggs. first i start out just looking through the glass, and after that i start to shuffle around the leaf litter and whatnot. my newest setups are more established than these pictures show. ive still got the top one, although as i said ive made some changes. finding eggs isnt always the easiest thing. but the best way to know to look for eggs is to keep a close eye on the behavior of your females. sometimes, they will lay in the same general area multiple times.

alright, got a few more pics for ya. you motivated me to get up off my butt. i didnt bother to get pics of all my satanic vivs, just the ones ive had recent luck in. please excuse them as they're a bit dirty at the moment, mineral stains have built up on the walls.
first off, the 3 gal long tank. i can get more detailed pics soon, just as i took close-ups i realized how embarassingly dirty they look.
second of all, a 20 gal tall, which really doesnt have that much cover, but it only houses a pair. plus, ive gotten some action out of this pair recently, and the female is due to lay another clutch any day now, i just hope they're fertile this time.
and finally, the tank i just got an egg from the other night. this is a 16 gallon tall viv that houses 1.2.
and of course, im always changing things around in the tanks to fit my (and ultimately the satanics') taste. that includes adding more plants, branches, and leaf litter.
