Bowl feeding

Hey guys!

The title pretty much sums it up. Ive heard of bowl feeding Uros in the past, and im not sure about how to best approach it. What type of bowl works best, and where should i look for them. Does it work for both crickets and mealies? Also, where is the ideal placement for the bowl in my vivs?

i do not htink it would work with crickets. i simply cannot even get them to stay in their breeding chamber. should work with mealies though. i would put it about half way up the terrarium somewhere. remember, they are arboreal and so will usually go best for animals off the ground.

I've tried it for my cresties. While the crix where in the bag i use to dust them, I broke the big legs they use to jump. They did stay in the bowl but the cresties didnt touch them.

hmm, what colour was the bowl? there are certain colours geckos dont like, which could have something to do with it... that or the bowl smelled weird or foreign...
