Hi All
I had to post these couple of pics as this just amazes me and goes to show the importance, and or requirements by these little critters for certain elements. This is my female - and I always dust her crickets with calcium powder & also supply a small bowl of calcium in the enclosure as well - but you know how you just dont know that they are getting enough?
I got some calcium powder & mixed it with a small amount of water so the mix was like dough - then rolled small balls & put them in the enclosure - within a matter of 1 minute she was over there eating them - how do they know its what they need? How does she know its calcium? Can she smell it or something? Anyway some people may find this boring - but I was amazed.
She pretty well devoured all.
