thinking about purchasing some

I have been in contact with a friend who is able to get me a pair of these amazing geckos, but had a few questions first. I have already extensively researched care, so im pretty set there, atleast at the moment. my friend informed me that the animal have been in for 2 months, and that the female he is going to send me is pregnant. First off, would a 2 month captive animal still be carrying eggs, or would this be the second clutch. I know i could just ask him, but i didnt want to sound like i didnt know  Also, how should i care for a pregnant female, as well as egg incubation. Ive worked with many species of geckos, but nothing that has been this interesting, and would love for my first encounter with them to be the best possible. Thank you all in advance.

A female that has been in a full two months would only be carrying eggs if she already laid some, she's been kept in the mid to high 60s, or she just got mated. This is a question you should ask the seller.

If she is very far along with eggs shipping might not be good for her, so finding out how far along she is would be recommended (maybe by getting a weight might help).

If you sift through the threads here you'll see many people have posted temperature ranges that they've incubated out. #1 thing is that an incubator is not recommended. It's thought that the eggs really need a day/night temp difference.

Good luck
