Fimbriatus question.....

I've got a fim who in 3 months hasn't gained any weight and is stuck at 8.5 inches. She's got amazing coloration and a large amount texturing. I've looked into it and I'm thinking it may be a fimbriatus-sikorae hybrid. I'll post pics later today, she's about to shed.

maybe because she is putting her energy into regenerating the tail?
Also, many times when animals regenerate their tails it stunts their growth.

not only that, but since you have an animal with a regenerated tail, you should be going by SVL rather than TL. over a period of 3 months, you shouldnt expect that much, especially seeing as it takes a good few months for an animal to acclimate. then, theres always the possibility of parasites, which could easily keep your animal from putting on weight. give it some time and things might change.
