thanks folks, the cerastes is tiny..has like 2 buttons, and its set-up in a rack unit.
I find rack units to work well for young crotalus, especially finicky eaters. My larger snakes(ruber, mitchelli, and helleri) are kept in some older vision cages with a basking light installed...no other heat. The ruber is "dog tame" if there is such a crot. Extremely mellow. Has never rattled in the two years that i have kept him. He didnt even rattle when i first collected him. Doesnt hiss, or even get defensive. So he is in a SECURE cage in the living room. and no i dont handle him.
I wont be able to make it to the show, but later in the year, i'll be around.

yeah, they are all mine, thanks for the compliments, its my side intrest besides geckos. I only wish we could keep exotic hots in CA. Never bred them, never tried. I might trry and pair some of em up once i get a bigger place. They are very low maintanence and amazing snakes to watch.
