Hi!

Im gonna start breeding crickets large scale soon and I've read about everything I could find on the internet, but I can't find any info about how many it's ideal to house togheter in a lets say 20"x15"x13" tank (got 4 of those)?

And how many pinheads would I get after a month if i had for an example 60 males and 140 females?

Good to know, but I'm gonna sell some too to the local pet shop too so, it would be great to know how many I could put in there whitout making total chaos for the crickets etc...

You could use less males. I usually do a 1.4 or 1.5 ratio and do just fine. Fewer males will still get the job done and you would have more room for females.

Thx, will do!

But how many could I put into one 20"x15"x13" tank? 30? 50? 100?

I've kept up to a thousand for an extended period in tubs similar in size to those. You could easily keep and breed 300 in a tank that size. Be sure to use plenty of egg crates though.

But 300 sounds good, will try that!

Thanks for the answers everyone!
