Excuse the white thermometer still double checking humidity and temps.

Let me know what you think. I plan on raising them seperatly and cooling them seperatly then early next year introducing them and hopefully babies will follow :D

Thanks Derek

I don't know much about the appropriate setup for these guys but I am curious what the cinder block type things are for??

Nice setups Derek! Be sure to post pics of the pair when you pick them up. The cinder blocks are used to mimic their natural environment, phyllurus live on/in rocky outcrops and rock crevices.

I honestly don't know a whole lot about Phyllurus platurus, but I do know that I've seen pics in their natural rocky areas. Would it be possible for you to break/cut that piece of cinder block and then stack it (safely) so there are crevices for them to hide in? I think they'd like it.

hi, i dont currently keep this species but they do occur in my area. i have also noticed that they are almost always located in rocky sandstone outcrops. those cages look great but it would ice the cake if you could make some good crevices for them too go in. i also noticed that you have some hollow logs in there. its a good idea to place a piece of paper on the glass where you look into the log. this way, it will stay dark in there and you can lift it up and take a peek when ever you want. the gecko will feel a lot more secure in there. good job though, goodluck with your new arrivals. post some pics when you get them.
