Wow even the female ornatas are really beautiful! She looks great, Jeff.

It looks like she's settling in nicely to her new home. She let you get right up close to snap the pic without freakin out???

She looks very healthy.

Yeah.I had to force her out of her bamboo hollow.So i sprayed some water down it.And she went up to the basking bamboo and sat their.While i took some pics.Even wiht my hand in the cage she wasnt to bad.

Dude shes amazing. I have always wanted ornata. IMO they are one of the better looking phelsuma along with the cepediana. Do you breed them?

NO breeding yet.Just got a female now need a male.Then ill breed them.They are one of the better looking phelsumas.BUt theirs also inexpecta,barbonica,barbouri and guimbeaui that have lots of COOL colors on em.

I thought inexpecta was a sup species of ornata. Guess they changed that while i wasn't looking lol. Well i want to be the first on the waiting list if the isn't a list already for babies. Also barbouri and guimbeaui are amazing also. Haven't seen either of them in a while.

I ment nope as the guimbeaui are their own now...my want list is
Guimbeaui,klemmeri,brevicipes,inexpecta,cepidena,serticada,ornata,barbonica,barbouri,roberimennsi(sp?)and others...hehe

haha..Yeah it is...No problem.It will probly be awhile.And ill most likely hold back most of em..But depending on how many i get.Ill let 1 or 2 go.
