Can you give me some informations (if possible) about life expectancy some Strophurus ie williamsi, intermedius .......

I know it is not the most clever question according to the varying parameters (age of first eggs laying, thermic variations ...) but just to have any average.

Nic (so happy to meet some of you in Hamm !!!)

hello Nic, well my experience is that they can get very old ( except permanent breeding females), i still have a male ( williamsi ) which came as a wildcaught one to europe in 1998, i got him 2000 and he is still in best condition and well. 1998 he was still a few years old, so the exactly age is not to find out, but he must be about 10+ years old now.
but of course many people would have different experiences with that.
but i can say strophs can get old in compare to some other reptiles.
hope this helps a bit.
see you in hamm..
regards stefan
