First eggies of the season...

A young hypo pair of U.milii were the first to lay this season. Being so light (especially the male) they are really hard to photograph, so please excuse the quality of the pics.

She had actually fallen fast asleep after laying them and hadn't covered them up. She had been in this position almost all night, so eventually I opened the nest box and nudged her to check she was okay, and put the eggies in the incubator.

Don't blame her for having a nap, it always amazes me how such big eggs come out of such a small hole

And if there is not enough light to make the pictures without a flash, you could use a piece of white papier to bounce the light!

Congrats on your eggs!

Sarah,
Congrats!!!! I hope my female will lay soon.

I caught them mating on monday, so when should I expect the eggs. Provided the mating was successful.

Last night, I was cleaning the enclosure and the female mad a feeble attempt to escape and I looked through the glass and saw two white, round things but they could just be organs, correct?

In the nest box, what is that substrate? Is it a type of moss? In my nest box, I have red destert sand mixed with vermiculite. My female Milii is always in hers but my female Levis is never in hers.

Again, Congrats.
