I will try and get one tomorrow if I remember. I have one basking spot horizontal 12 inches long 2 inches under the lamp. I have another 4 or so inches below, as well as 2 diagonals running from the bottom of the cage to the various horizontal bamboos. I plan on rolling the eggs out, after they are laid. let me know.

Here's what I do with the bamboo:

When the female lays in there i can easily see the eggs. I just gently pull out the bamboo and use a little tool i made to slide the eggs out.

klemmeri eggs are very delicate. You can't really roll them out safely. Well, maybe you can, but i don't take the chance. She'll lay in the same spot every time, so get a good system worked out. THe main focus sould be: - Your spot should be the most desirable spot in the enclosure for her to lay. - You should be able to see the eggs easily without having to dig around the enclosure for them. - And they should definately be easy to extract.

You can do all of that with one well-cut, well-placed piece of bamboo

Im not sure if its too hot. Probably not, but maybe a little?

My guess is she will lay in the spot thats most difficult for you to get to. You don't want to give her a really cozy place to drop her eggs that you can't get to easily.

That one horizontal tube in the middle looks like a choice spot - the one with the hole drilled into it. If she drops in there how easy will it be for you to get them?

- just some things to think about dude. Trust me i know from experience its no fun to try to work that out AFTER she lays!

maybe a day or 2 before she is gonna drop you can remove all but the one bamboo tube you want her to lay in...

Thats what i idd./WHen my gradnis was gona lay.removed all the bamboo. But the one she was picking out.The make sure they pick a spot that stays plenty dry.So thell go to that spot many times and stick their head in it.and thats most likely were shell lay.Just some things ive noticed from exsperience. But this is with grandis so it might not be the same. But i wouldent see why not.

I think im gonna change around basking spots. I will switch the bamboo's, so the one with the holes and the crack is lower. Thanks Joe and Jeff.
