Geckolepis hatched!!!

i must have found the eggs loooong after they were payed cause i've been incubating them for about 2 or 3 weeks and i one hatched! the little dude/ette suprised the heck out of me. i made a quick makeshift enclosure and scooted him in there. i was sooooo excited!

i'd have pics, but the durn wife takes the camera to work.. dont ask me why!

they have actually been a plug and play species. :lol:

i have them in a rubbermaid (making the glass enclosure this weekend i hope), dirt substrate, some bark on the ground and some leaning, feed 'em crix and/or yogurt 3-4 times a week, keep em warm, mist a non-heated corner once a week and leave em alone. they are really skittish, really fast, and run up plastic tubs really quick.

i got lucky in the breeding but will be trying a little more actively from now on.
