Has anyone ever heard of an albino day gecko?

Just curious, it seems to me that there aren't many recessive traits commonly seen on any of the madagascan herps that I know of. Was curious if this had more to due with an island isolation issue, or something else. Or, maybe I'm just not familiar with the herps that have shown them. Either way just wanted to know if anyone knew of any, especially with the day geckos, as I'd think that would be a really stunning animal.

Thanks for humoring my curiosity,

Interesting, well I guess that means it's not out of the realm of possibility, though I wonder if it's death had anything to do with a mixture of sensitivity to light and diurnal nature. Looks like it was an interesting critter either way. Thanks for sharing.

Oh Peter - your kidding!

Every time I get a clutch of eggs I hope there's an albino in there... or some crazy morph

its not like we altered them to become albinos. They just bred to make albinos.like when people say the way god made them.God also made albinos.
