Hey i was poopin around these forums a while ago and now i am back. I have the availibilty to pick up two hatchling klemmeris in my area or i can just get one then later get an unrelated one.

So my questions are:
To use one bloodline or mix?
To buy both hatchlings or one?
10 gallon vertical orientation or 20 high? (i would like to use the 10 but IF it is too small for a sexed pair, however it would be very densley planted)
I also have access to a male but what to get hatchlings male or what?

thats about it for now, thanks
Cheers

Diversify your breeding stock. If you want, buy both hatchlings now and raise them up. If both end up female, but an unrelated male and you've got a trio. If they end up even sexes, just trade one out for a unrelated. Your best bet is to try and hope for a male (pretty much the case in all phelsuma). A 10g vert is fine for single klemmeri and perhaps even a pair if densely planted. Others will chime in on this topic.

This is one of my poison dart frogs vivariums when it was first planted! Now it is a miniture jungle maybe i will post a an updated picture of it. I personally like a very dense apperence, now knock out a plant or two and stickk in a bunch of bamboo and i think it would suit them nicley.
What d you all think?

That's a very nice looking viv. I would say if you don't care about seeing your phelsuma all the time and aren't terribly concerned about finding eggs, then go for the look. Otherwise, I suggest you tone it down a little bit...

Well i am not too concerned with seing them too much, but i would try to make designated laying sites.

I probably wouldnt have it that densley planted, thats for frogs not geckos.
I dont know if i can afford them all.
