Hi Stefan

I have the same problem with hibernation, they are still horny small bastards...
I think it´s the warmer temp around the world.

Most of you say, this is a fake picture, but I can promise you, it´s not.
They are so incredible red, so I can sit down and watch them for hours.

And you can see the normal red pot for vegetables, in the left down corner.
They are Nephrurus levis levis my (red line)

Hope you like them.

Best Regards
Tom

hello Tom, first to say i love your reddis.
it is true with the weather, the global warming, will bring the most animals also out of their normal settings.
the "warm" October and November we had here in germany this year, brought many geckos in a second breeding season, as i regonized and some others i talked to in the last few weeks.
regards stefan

Don`t panic! The world is just going crazy, the seasons are moving, the winter is coming - sometime in January  But one day we`ll learn our lesson, I guess then it`s too late

That fuc... global warming and thinking of people makes me very very sad ...

BTW - very nice levis, Tom !

If you think it is a problem in Central Europe, como to spain. We are about to begin the month of December and I'm still wearing T-shirts...

But, as you all say, the problem is not for me, but for my animals. Try to explain them they should be resting and not breeding... ;)

Nevertheless, I think like Michael and assume than in a time (if we are all still alive) the breeding seasons will also move to other months. So it is possible that we start brumation/hibernation by december and start breeding season by June...

Apart from that... I hate you Tom!! ;). I think your animals look ill, they seem like burned, so I were you I would send them inmediatly to me, as I know exactly how to heal them... :p

Best regards,

Last year in the US, Georgia didn't even drop below freezing that often during the winter. I almost welcome the colder weather this winter. The global warming things does scare me though, how long before it affects all reptiles in the wild? It has already gotten mountain dwelling frogs. And you know that what our environment does to amphibians is a precursor of what will happen to us, amphibians read the future of our health.

I live in the tropics, we wear T-shirts in winter and no shirt in summer, yet my levis levis still brumated for over 3 months with no help required.
I think you may find it's an effect of multi-generation captive breeding or just stubborn animals rather than global warming :D
Room temps were from 18C overnight to 26C daytime whilst they brumated.
