Sick or Just old?

Hi there!
I have a group of Uroplatus Henkeli and one of the females has started to act strange.
She doesn't use her left back leg, as if she's done something to it.
Maby she has hurt her self while jumping around in the housing or maby it's just because she's on the last drops of lifesteam?
She hasn't eaten for almost 3 weeks now, atleast from what I have seen :(
I don't know the actuall age of the pore thing either but she's atleast 5 years old.
But maby she's even older?!
And I'v checked her for dameges on the leg and looked at the calcium sacks plus checked that so she's not dehydrated.
She seams fine by the looks of things, but something must be wrong since the way she acts!?

Any ideas anyone?!

it's always a possibility youve got an older specimen, especially when you buy wild caught adults. the leg issue sounds like something that would need vet attention. the eating situation really needs to be dealt with. you should try assist feeding her.

Okay!
The sad thing about needing to see a vet is that there isn't a whole lot of reptile experts nearby, plus the last time I when to the vet with an Uroplatus they didn't even know what it was?!!?
I'll try to get something in her stomac.
Not the easiest thing to do though! I remember when I had to forcefeed my old Fimbriatus, she ate more of my fingerns that the crickets *hehe*
If I don't get her to eat I'll go to a vet, maby they can get her some vitamin shots to boost the energy?
Thanks for the answer Mike!

Just from my personal experience hand feeding sikorae and lineatus, it isn't too bad if you know how to get them mad. If you tap gently or rub along the edge of their mouth enough, they tend to open up their mouths in a defense gesture. Then you place a cricket in the corner and often they will go ahead and swallow once they figure out that it's food. Hope she gets better.

My Uroplatus Pietschmanni did the same exact thing! One day I gust started to watch her and she was acting very funny. Then I noticed her back leg was a little swollen and she didn’t use it at all. Well she tried to at least. Anyway, she did eat though unlike yours which is strange and my story didn’t end that well if you know what I mean!

Can you answer this one question for me? Is his/her leg swollen just a tiny bit?

It's not swollen at all, that's the strange thing.
I'v been feeding her with a mix of youghurt and a powder with lots of vitamins.
She has started to be more active and she puts more and more suport on to the leg..
And getting her to open her mouth is almost imposible since I'v never seen such a placid Henkeli *hehe*
But after some time she usualy opens up her mouth and I can put in the youghurt mix.
I'll keep this up for about 2 weeks time, two times a day and trying every day to se if she'll take a roach.
I'll keep you posted on how she's coming along!

Realy sorry about you Pietschmanni Camo.

Im glad she is doing a little better. Watch out though about hand feeding her to often. There really prone to stress and could die of it if your not carfull.
Good luke.

One more thing you could try Herpcare electrolyte & Appetite stimulant. Its full of D3 vitamins and tons of calcium.
