Ph. klemmeri agessions

Hi,

today i took a look into my klemmeri cages(1,3 inside) and i saw one animal(male) with only two toes left. In my opinion it is impossible that he hurt himself somewhere in the cage(didn't found the toes). My idea was that another animal in the cage attacked him and finally ate the toes. Do you think this is possible?

Anyone had similar experience?

Thanks for your answers

Wow!

My guess is that either one of the females did it, or he did not shed properly on his toes for a while and they eventually lost blood flow and dropped off. Sometimes I see mine biting at their toes if they have some retained shed skin on there...

But ????????

I have never heard of a male klemmeri getting seriously injured by a female like that though, but it could happen. Thats crazy.

Is it just one foot that only has 2 toes left or he only has 2 toes left on his entire body???

I'd like to hear what HUNDO and Mat.si have to say about this one...

It is not that bad! He only has one foot injured. And he is able to climb everywhere.

The wound is fresh.

Sheding problems are not known. Yesterday he looked normal and I didn't see something strange with the toes(I cleaned the cage yesterday and cought all 4 geckos).

Must be an agressive female.

Hope to hear other opinions.

Thanks a lot

i would watch carefully for the next few days. An agressive female is potentially dangerous, so pay careful attention to their behaviour.
