If you dont mind me asking they weren't two of the ones from Scales and Tails? If so, that would be the reason for the phone call I had today.
Once you get your specialist I may be able to help you amyae wise.
They asked me about the price long ago, when they were just thinking of getting them in. The reason they called today was to offer me the other male they have. Gavin did tell me however (back when they first arrived and I confirmed the sexes for him), that he would let me know if he was ever going to sell any of them, as he did tell me he was going to keep them. So I'm a little disappointed with them, but I wish you the best with them Nick. I think the rough knob-tails are the easiest geckoes to keep.
Sorry if they have messed you around, I just popped in last week to register my interest and they called me back today. I paid what I thought was an OK price given I have seen them sell for $500 to $700 each recently and people have been willing to pay more. What was he originally going to sell them for?
Dont worry, its not your fault Nick. When I told him one price (which is what I paid for my 4 animals), he said that he could get at least $500, probably $600 for them. I hope you didnt pay that much. They offered the other male to me for $400. I told them I would think about it, but will probably stick with my 1 male 3 females as I have a lot of animals coming this season. Plus I am waiting to hear about some possible, asper purchases anyway.
