I haven't purchased any new Uroplatus for a while, but a few U. pietschmanni became available so I picked up a pair. Here they are:

Right now they are in quarantine so I can monitor them; maybe until May. They have a few red mites so I've been manually removing these.

I also got an extra female U. ebenaui. She's looking good but I didn't take any pics.

Very Nice! Did you get them from PC? I was there today and eyeing the last pair there. It's just a matter of convince the GF that we "need" them:)

Yeah I got them the Friday them came in since I got off work early. The first "female" I got was in horrible shape so I returned her and picked up another. It wasn't even a female. Between my first trip and my second, they picked up some more and I exchanged the sick "female" for and even better, beautiful female. They only had males after that so unless they got more after I left, that last pair was probably a pair of males. Just make sure they are a proper pair if you do get them. They guaranteed me I had a pair and they definitely weren't when I checked them closely at home.

It took 4 hours both ways to get there and back but on the trip to return them, I was there and back within the hour. The lesson here: don't drive early on the Friday before Christmas.

Well the one was nice and plump and just beautiful, the 2nd could have been in better shape. Didn't bother to ask if they were actually a pair:(
I might head down there again on Sunday if I can, and have my fingers crossed that they are a pair. It's just nice to see someone else in the general area with an interest in Corkbarks other than just me:)
