leo health issues

hey all long time since i've been on and i'm contuing the herpin!!! any way since i've last logged on i've lost a leo to extrem weight loss and anothers going thought it as we speak and is on the verge of death by appearnce, also there is no vet tht specilizes in reptiles round here so i'm dumfounded could any one give me any ideas or ideas for soultions?

Were/are both of the Geckos eating? It could be some sort of parasite. The next question is, have you ever housed the gecko who died and your current one together? If so, your geckos could have contracted something from the other gecko.

I had an issue finding a herp vet in my area to, but I got out the phone bookand called all around and I found one 10 minutes away that would see them so it's worth actually calling around before just searching the web

yes they WERE housed together but there not now my other two leos are fine......... funiest thing tho is one of after i noticed them him losing weight i had recently put the late geckos mate in there with him (after a 3 week quatine tho) maybe she was bulling him and shes cause psycoloical damage?

If the one that died, had some sort of parasite, or disease like Crypto, the one that was housed with it, and is losing weight now, more than likely has the samething.
