This year the winter is very "hot" in Switzerland. (From a climatical point of view LOL !!!)
Very difficult to get temperatures as low as 10-15 in my "cool room".
My others Australian geckos are in resting and cooling time and will stay till february. (As my cameleons will be). But my Phyllurus and my Hoplodactylus have tested a new cold room and got an optimal 12-15 during 8 weeks. So they are ready.
Nicolas, as you know, we here in Germany got the same problem. But for me it sounds crazy when the first gecko mating can be note in January. OK, Phyllurus and Hoplodactylus don`t need it such warm, but it`s although crazy and not normal.
I have the same problems with this years winter temperatures. Two of my female U. milii layed eggs last week during hibernation, although the male is separated. Normally they rest till the middle to end of February and i get the first clutches at the beginning of April.
