U. SIKORAE EGGS VS R. CILIATUS EGGS

I just found two U. Sikorae eggs in my Sikorae cage. Both eggs are solid white and appear to be fertile, and in good condition. However, I was wondering if fertile eggs will cave in simmiliar to the way R. Ciliatus eggs do when they dry out due to poor humidity.
I found the eggs in an area of the cage where the dirt was dry, and am not sure how long they have been there. I know from past experience with R. Ciliatus that their eggs will cave in/ crack if left in a dry area for to long. If this was the case with the Sikorae eggs in question would they show the same problems, or would they remain perfectly spherical?
Thanks in advance for any ideas/info.

you are talking about some of the general differences between soft and hard shelled eggs here. first off, from what i was taught, i learned that hard shelled eggs are much more resistant to dryer conditions than soft shelled eggs. so the answer is that no, uroplatus eggs do not cave in like crested eggs do. when these eggs go bad, instead you get cracking and festering. sounds like your eggs are good. and as long as you have been spraying the cage you keep your sikorae in, i would keep my hopes up for the eggs. you can try candling them to see if the embryos are a good bit into their development or if theyve still got some way to go. good luck.
