Sad news!!!

Found out that my third baby died in the egg. I was really hoping it would hatch but oh well. I was surprized it actually formed because of the big dent in the egg. Im sad. First dead gecko in a long time. Hopefully i will get more eggs though because that was my last egg. The really sad thing though is when i looked at it closely its nose was sticking out of the shell.

Thanks yeah it was really sad but yeah. My grandis should be out of my hands next week. yay :lol: more space.

Man that is sad. I am sorry to hear it when any geckos have been lost but most of all when it is a Iroplatus.

I have noticed that if the gecko is not strong enough to break out of the egg it normaly dont not survive long. That is why I will not cut any egg.

I know that is a crapy way to look at it but I know I woud rather loose a gecko that did not hatch than a hatchling.

I have a Sikorae egg that we are waiting on now. It is so tempting to hatch it but I know that the gecko will come out on its own if it strong enough.
