Hi everybody. Since I plan to keep reading and start posting in this forum I might just as well introduce myself.

Swede, 36 years old. Wife, two boys 2 and 4 years old.

I have kept herps for about fifteen years. I started off with a cornsnake that very soon got company. Then it was time for grey rat snakes( I still have scars on my fingers after the female biting me) and I continued with different kinds of poison frogs.

After a while I got hooked on geckos wich I have kept for the last ten years even though I drastically reduced my collection of animals prior to moving five years ago. All that remained was an African fat tail and some Oedura monilis.

Being mosty interested in eyelid geckos I sold the Fat tail and the remaining Oedura and instead bought some Leopard geckos which only recently has been accompanied by a couple of C variegatus and some C elegans from Matjaz Rojc.

Future plans? I dont really know. All I´m sure of is that any future plans most likely involves some species of eyelid gecko or maybe some kind of Hemidactylus.

Other stuff: Loves Scubadiving and got my instructor license ten years ago(NAUI, CMAS)

Thanks. I guessed you were scandinavian or at least had some knowledge of scandinavian history. Which country o you come from?

A qualified guess, taking your nick into consideration, would be icelandic nationality...

Normandy? Then you´re almost scandinavian anyway since the vikings were granted Normandy from the french king in exchange for peace :)

My location

is just outside Landskrona. It seems to me that there are a number of swedes here even though not many are active. I saw that you have some G splendens. Beautiful animals.
