Strophurus breeding question

Hey Everyone,
I have had a male S. williamsi for about 9 months now now, and he is about 1.5 years old. I wanted to find him some females so I bought 2 unsexed ones from Jerry Peebles. These ones were hatched at the beggining of June 2006. The females are both bigger than the adult male I have. I dont want to breed them yet, but since there adult size, can I introduce them? I will probly wait until September to do it, but I was just wondering.
Thanks
-Steve

Steve,
I forgot to mention some other details, even though I don't know much about strophurus. Search for an adult females recommended breeding weights in the forums. You didn't mention weights in your thread, but don't forget that some species like levis levis, where females are more than twice the weight of males at recommended breeding weights. And although they may be of adult size at only 9 months of age, they may not have fully developed sex organs yet.
I'm hoping that someone else answers too, but I think that most of this info is universal for most species of Aussie geckos.

Thanks Ryan. I dont think there is much of a size differance in Strophurus from what I have read. Anyone else have some info?

Hi Steve,

With the few species of strophurus I have kept, the females are noticably larger than the males. As you have suggested, it would be wise to wait until later this year to breed them although they may be near adult size at the moment.
