Egg Binding Fimbraitus

Hello All,

I'm new to posting on this site, but not exactly new to raising geckos. Been trolling this forum for over a year now, but havent posted anything. I'm mostly into Uroplatus. One of my females giants today dropped her tail, and ended up dying a few hours later. I thought this female was gravid as I could somewhat see two bumps on her belly. Well, curiousity got the best of me and I decided to carefully dissect her as I was a bit stumped on her sudden death. Low and behold, there was two perfectly hard shelled eggs in her stomach. I removed the egg yolk sacs and set the eggs in container. Has anyone ever successfully hatched egg bound eggs? Reason i ask, are these eggs look like normal layed eggs. I have never had an experience like this in the past. Any input, would be appreciated.

Thanks

You may or may not. They could be old or not properly formed?? Doesn’t hurt trying.
