Klemmeri temp cage

I was caught off guard, again, and I have no caging set up. I have 1.2 adults coming tomorrow, 12 months old, and I was wondering if I can just use a 10 gallon with PVC pipe instead of bamboo, and use fake plants until I can drive an hour north to track down more snake plants and bamboo, and until I move out some more Phelsuma for more arboreal cage space? Thanks

I think it is the best you drive tomorow eaarly in the morning
to get the stuff you need.

fo you know at what time you klemmeri's will arrive?

I wont have time, and the nursery wont be open. It will only be until Saturday when I can get out there and buy some bamboo and snake plants. I will use coco-fiber/cypress mulch substrate for them, like my other pair.

Hey Peter,

Congrats on getting the young trio... quite a feat!!!

Sure man, you can house them temporarily like you said. Why not? So long as they come in healthy they should be fine for a bit :)

Good luck with them and post some pics when you get a chance

ya Joe I am quite excited.
I got them in a trade for some rangei, 1.1 for 1.1, but he decided to throw in a female with a "slight curvature to the back". I do not plan on breeding her, I doubt she could breed, but I am pumped just to keep her, they are just such fun geckos. I will make sure to get some nice pics of them, and it looks like I need to order more cages soon...ugh...
