Our female MD Kochis died suddenly yesterday. She had been living with her male for over a year, and had eggs 4 weeks ago. She was eating well, looking very healthy and active.
I found her yesterday kind of in suspended animation.
She was perched back legs on a log, front legs inside a glass we put waxies in for them, as if she was just getting one. She'd started to go dull on her body, but was floppy still (forgive me i dont know if they go stiff like humans)
She and the male had been in same tank, same conditions, same food, same drink, everything.
Can anybody shed light on this as my partner is devastated and thinks we did it..
