Reptile Attractions in Europe?

Hey guys,
July 1st i'm packing my bags and taking a trip to Europe before I start college. I will be in Paris, Amsterdam, Switzerland (mostly Luzern to visit family), and Rome. Any suggestions on where to go to check out the local herps? I have most access to move around in Switzerland since my cousins owe me one for when I took them out in the Manhatten. I come back to New York the 24th.
Thanks, Andrew!

Local herps...
Most are found around the south, i think Rome will be your best shot.
There are not that much herps in europe, sadly enough.

ehh, excellent! it's nice here in switzerland, usually. I think your best bet will be looking into amphibians though. Certianly more common than any reptiles. I'm not from the Luzern region though, so I can't help with that. Have fun mate! All the good herps are down south, so you might have some luck.

best regards,
Mark

You can go to mountains in "Valais" but it is a far way from Luzern if you want to see vipers.

Near "Genfersee" (lac Léman) but it is not near to Luzern too... there are snakes and lizards, and in "Tessin" it is the best place too see herps, but far from Luzern too.

You didn't choose the good place sorry.
