Egg Problem

Well last neight I looked into my Ebenaui cage and what did I see but a little pretty round white egg. The female had just laid it and was getting ready to roll it from what I could see. It was laid up on a tree branch shelf, which has co-co fiber in it.

The PROBLEM:
This morning I woke to find the egg is gone. I have looked high and low.

No egg.

Is it possible that one of the cage mates ate the egg?

What happened to my egg?

Please help me out.

Cage setup:
Exo 18x18x24 with live ficus plants and potos
1.2 Ebenaui
Promist system twice a day
Hum 85%-95%
Temp 68-76

Thanks for your help.

Hi,

where was the egg located? Its quite common that infertile eggs are eaten up again.

Well the female layed the second egg today and it looks good. Weighs in at .6 grams. Found it under the leaf pile and rolled in the sub.
