I need some opinions!?

I live in Lake Havasu City, AZ....The temperature around here exceeds over 115 degrees during July through October. The problem; I just ordered a N. Levis male from a unanimous (Not going to mention the source) seller about a week ago and she/he can't guarantee live arrival now, because of the heat situation. Her/His location is around 450 miles away from Havasu...I know it's a risk, but no matter where I order species from the same problem is going to occur. She/He was going to Ship monday evening (july 15th) and arrive this Tuesday (16th). Should I surpass the live arrival guarantee and wing it or get my money back guarantee?

I know it's an awkward question, but I need some suggestions (Sorry if this post does not belong in this section)!

Thanks...

It is always better to wait until both you and the seller feel comfortable shipping. It is not worth risking the life of the animal. I would never ship in 115 degree weather, nor would I have any animal shipped to me when it is getting that hot.

I appreciate your advice Keli, but I already resolved the problem and I'm actually taking a trip to Long Beach, CA...just to get the Nephrurus Levis shipped to a safe climate, and a reasonable safe traveling distance from long beach to Havasu by car. The breeder lives in San Fransisco, so shipping from there to Long Beach should be much safer and easier on the gecko.

Thanks again...
