hi, i have 1.1 thecadactylus rapicauda and right now my female is gravid with a pair of eggs. in the past she hasnt laid me an good clutches, something has always gone wrong, either theyve been infertile, smashed, or laid in the water dish. i have her isolated right now to reduce stress and with a shallow water dish. i have heard that they can be hard to breed and the eggs even harder to hatch so what are the proper techniques to successfully incubate the eggs?

Thecadactylus Rapicauda

yes, they do take a long time to hatch
I think mine was about 90-120 days no more than that
should have written it down on the deli cup when it was laid
but forgot when it hatched out
I try to keep the humidity in the cage at about 70% just in case she lays it
on the ground I can get to it quickly and put it in a deli cup with vermiculite
I do have plastic jars filled with moss inside the cages
and one of my females lays it under the moss
but then she sometimes just lays it on the ground
I'm about to get a misting system to keeep up the humidity
if you have any question please PM me
I can take some pic's in a few days to show you how i have them set up
thanks
