I dont know why I never got into snakes earlier. Ive been keeping lizards for around 11 years now, and Ive been breeding geckos for 4, but I never once got a snake. I finally decided to get one, a young female Hogg Island Boa, Roxy. I usually dont name my herps, too many I guess, but I had to name her. She is so sweet, and quite tame. I regret not getting into snakes years ago. She was well priced, and ive always loved dwarf BCI's. I have her set up in a 10 gallon right now with a few hides, some driftwood, and a water bowl on newspaper. I have no experience in setting up snake cages, but she seems to thrive in it. She hate her second day with me, and ive taken her out and handled her daily.
